Job Description
Our client is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse or a Student Nurse in their 2nd or 3rd year to join their progressive and cohesive team. You will have varied responsibilities including, Inpatients, Ops, GAs, Lab, X-ray, Consultations, Pharmacy, Equipment care and supporting other team members to keep every day varied.
About the Role:
The role is Full or Part Time. The full-time position is typically 40 hours per week, with a mixture of early and late shifts (either 8:30-5:00 or 11:00-7:30) and 1:4 Saturday mornings (8.30am – 12/30pm). Part time could look like 2 – 4 days per week however they are flexible and happy to discuss the working days / hours in detail.
About the Practice:
Their practice is excellently equipped with digital x-ray, operating facilities, capnograph, BP, ECG, ultrasound, digital dental x-ray, lab with much used microscope and more. They offer routine examinations, vaccinations, laboratory diagnostics, x-rays, ultrasound, medical treatments and a range of routine and soft tissue surgeries. They also have a visiting vet who performs a range of laparoscopic (keyhole) procedures, including bitch spays and retained testicle surgery. They pride themselves on getting to know their clients and patients and from this have a great local reputation and loyal clients.
